Our weekend started out with a Birthday party for our Braden Lloyd Newton!! Braden was born on February 3rd, 2003 at 8:47 a.m. He is the sweetest boy and we can't imagine our family without him. It was so fun to have him run in the morning of his birthday, so excited to see his signs and balloons. And then I layed with him and told him all about the morning he was born. We love Braden Boy so much!!!
Braden had a Kid Super Bowl Party!! It was fun playing with footballs and trying to play a few games. The noise level in the house sounded just like it would at a football game!!!

We woke up to a phone call on Sunday. I answered thinking it was someone calling to sing to Braden, but instead it was someone calling to let us know church had been cancelled. I jumped out of bed to look outside and find this!!!!
18 inches of snow on our deck!!!
The back yard was a winter wonderland!! So much snow that the kids were able to jump off the deck into the snow!! They had so much fun!
And then the front yard became a great place to go sledding!!
This is the snow on the side of our driveway, it was as tall as me!! The people across the street couldn't even get out the front door without shoveling down the front steps!!
Last but not least.... THE SUPERBOWL!! I can't believe I didn't take pictures of everyone here, so caught up in the fun I didn't think about it!! We had so much great food, and t.v.'s on in every room with the game playing, and kids running and playing and people laughing and talking, and Colter and Abi dominating the prizes for guessing the scores!! (except for 2nd quarter that mom won!! And Codye was so close to getting 4th quarter, but those Giants worked some magic!!!)

Holy cow... I can't believe it snowed so much there. We've got alot but not enough to cancel church... I am sure that you were so bummed about that! Glad you guys had fun at the big party!!!

What a good day to have church cancelled. That snow looks like sooo much fun!! They cancelled church for us when they think it might snow. We are a bunch of whimps now. It started snowing a couple of weeks ago(but nothing stuck) and I couldn't believe how cold it was.
I was totally fun! Thanks for hosting again. You are such a great host. It was tons of fun spending time with you today, while making you even more gorgeous then you already are! I love your energy and life. You make me smile!
