Brandon Tackle Football....

My cute Brandon has been waiting to be old enough to play tackle football, and this year was his year!!

We signed him up for Football having no clue what kind of commitment we were looking at.

Um, ya, they started out with a try out that was a week long. Once teams were chosen, practices started..... 6 days a week!!! No joke, for a whole month he went Mon - Fri for 2 hours and then on Saturdays for 3 hours!!

Once games started they went to 3 practices a week, and games on Saturdays. So basically for about 4 months my Brandon was gone every Tue, Wed, Thur practicing! And you know what, he only complained a few times. He was such a trooper, and really enjoyed it!!

His team was called the RIVERTON COPPER. And they went UNDEFEATED!!!

Seriouslly 11 and 0!! I was so proud of him! They went to Playoffs, and then the Championships and won!!! The championship game took place on the Saturday that it snowed. And those boys got out there and played some awesome football in the snow!!

The boys hudddled around a heater in between their plays... It was soooooo cold!!

Love you Brandon, Our #34 is #1 to us!!!

BMX

We were so busy this summer we didn't make it to BMX races. They just started again at the indoor track so the boys went last weekend. It was so much fun!!

Last year Brandon was always so close to placing, but couldn't quite get it. But THIS year, woot woot, He took "1st Place" and "2nd Place"!! We are so excited for him!!!

Here's a little video footage of his 2nd place win. They're all in black, so it's hard to tell which one is him at first, but you'll see him cross the line in 2nd place!!

HALLOWEEN FUN 2009

What a fun Halloween we had!! Here are a few pics to enjoy...

Linden dressed as Juno. I didn't love the fact that she looked like such a cute pregnant girl!! She had so much fun going to the dance and doing the "worm" on the ground pregnant. Got a lot of looks!!


Camryn was planning on being "Goth" this year and then thought about Brandons football outfit and decided she was going as a Goth Football Player. Hey, it's Halloween, go crazy!!

Brandon was an evil warlock. With his U pumpkin!!

Braden was a Blue Ninja, what a cutie!

And Ry Ry was a cute little bumble bee. She called it a fly. She'd cry when we took the "fly" off. She LOVED trick or treating!!

Now, on to the adult fun..... We had a costume party for the adults. Everyone had to dress up as a "couple". We had so much fun!!

Here are Steve and I as Juno and Bleeker. (Linden was mad I copied her costume, sorry Lind!!) But we sure had fun with all the sayings..... "that Bleeker is good in chair", "Look at our little June bug", "Next time I see that Bleeker I'm gonna hit him in the wiener"......

The only thing worse than getting pictures taken of 5 kids, is trying to get the whole family! Luckily, this went smoothly. Other than Ryan, everyone was great! That's what you get with a two year old though, right?

I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH I LOVE MY KIDS. THEY ARE MY LIFE!!! THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL AND CRAZY AND FUNNY AND CUTE AND PAINS, AND WONDERFUL!!!

LOTOJA 2009

So, this year for Lototja, Steve has been training and felt his strongest. He was ready to get out there and see if he could get his best time.

To start off the week before Lotoja, he decided to get chest pains on Sunday night and go to the hospital!!! Ya, and have an EKG saying he was having a heart attack, so then taken away for an angiogram (sp?). Long story short, he DID NOT have a heart attack, he had pericarditis, which is swelling around the heart. It is usually caused by a virus, we're not sure why he got it, but he did!!!

What a bummer to happen the week before the big race!!!


The whole week before the race we wondered if he was going to be able to race. He wasn't able to ride. He went into the cardiologist and got the OK though, so off we went to Logan, Utah.

My brother Colter did the race for his first time this year, it was so fun to be there with him!!

Steve was so excited to show off his Lotoja tatoo this year.... Come to find out they decided to put a stamp on everyone's calf to show who paid for the race. Steve went to get his stamp and the guy said, "Oh we already did yours, I mean, wow! That's a real one!!" Here he is with his double Lotoja stamps!!

There was a dinner the night before for the guys on Steve's team. It was fun to go with family and have dinner before the big race.
