GO UTES!!!

Rivalry week began with the Newton children wearing red to school every day. Showing how proud they are of our UTES. Steve wore his U of U tie to work, and on Friday had a U t-shirt with a decal on his face with the U, and off to meet with the Manager/Owner of one of his facilities, my true UTE!!

Saturday morning began with our now traditional red U of U pancakes...

We had everyone over for a big UTAH party!!! The requirements were that people had to wear red, and that any food they brought was red. It was so fun, we had red m&m's, sweedish fish, licorice, pizza, shrimp dip, seven layer dip with red salsa on top, coke, you name it, it was red!!!

The cousins had a blast playing and hanging out.... Every so often they'd run in when they heard us all screaming and dancing around, just to make sure the U was winning...
We love mom and dad, our #1 Ute fans!!
The Whole gang, we had sooooooo much fun. There were times when Mom was dancing on the coffee table, Colter was flapping like a bird, Chell was doing her pep club move, you get the picture!!!

And the FAVORITE of the night, the Flashing U!!! My cutest husband first of all built this U from scratch. He has been searching for something to make the lights blink on and off when the U wins, but couldn't find anything. SO HE SAT ON THE DECK IN THE FREEZING COLD AND BLINKED THOSE LIGHTS ON AND OFF FOR 2 HOURS!!! I kept asking him to come in, but he'd just say, "there may be one more BYU fan I can torture though!!!" I love him!!!

GOT SOME TIME?

So, I just blogged a bunch of stuff, it may take a while to get through it all, just keep on scrolling down!!

CRUISIN'.....

Steve and I went on our first cruise for his 40th Birthday!! It was SOOOOO amazing!!! I have literally 120 pictures from the trip, so it was hard to choose just a few, but here they are....
We were in room 4140 in honor of my honey's 40th birthday!!

It was so fun to dress up on the "formal" nights. Steve didn't love it as much as me, but he was a good sport!!
We went with our awesome friends Brian and Stacey, what a blast!!

What a great time on the beach, buying stuff from the thousands of people coming around "selling". I heard over and over, "Mira, Mira, Almost Free".... Have to admit, after a while they get quite annoying though!! I always seemed to get suckered in to buying more stuff though!

I'm not the adventurous type, but I've always wanted to parasail. I was laying out and Steve came over and said it was time for me to parasail, he had paid and everything. I was FREAKING out!! It was so amazing though!!

Look how high I was!!! I kept saying to myself, "my life is complete, as long as I live through this!!"
Steve and I got our twinner fake tattoos, I love him so much!!

We laughed and had soooo much fun the whole trip!!

Steve out on a boogie board... Some of the waves were really big!

What great friends, we're so lucky....

Steve really wanted to see the sun rise, so the last morning on the boat we got up early and waited up on deck. I was NOT excited about it, but knew he wanted to see it. So we waited, and waited, and then, oh my gosh, it was sooooooo awesome!!! It just all of a sudden popped out from the horizon! Steve gave me such a hard time (which I totally deserved) because I was so excited about how neat it was!
We went to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas. I loved all the places, it was just so much fun to do whatevere we wanted, eat whatever we wanted, lay out, swim, laugh, so all that other stuff that I won't mention on my blog! It was just the best trip ever!!!!

40 YEARS OLD!!!

Steven Wayne turned 40 years old on October 17th!!! What an awesome day for an awesome guy!!! His whole family came in from out of town, we're talking PA, TX, FL, all over!! They LOVE him!!!

It was a surprise that they came. I took him to lunch and when we walked in all of his family were holding a picture of him in front of their faces, it was so great!! He was SOOOOO surprised!!

So much fun to have the BOYS together!!
You know if these two boys are together, they are going to be CRAZY, and they didn't disapoint!!

I didn't get as many pictures as I'd thought, we had so much fun with Donna, Mike, Vicki, Missie, Lonnie, Mark and Rachel!!!

On Satureday night we had a party and watched a video of Steve's life, it was so neat. I love him so much!!

One more year and she's driving? I really can't explain how much I love this girl. She's not only my daughter, but my friend. She makes me so proud! How lucky can we be to have this girl that is in 9th grade, honor classes and comes home with straight A's!! She's amazing, not to mention BEAUTIFUL!!!

Steve was excited to give her a skateboard, now she can get out there and skate!!
And of course to make the birthday complete, spending time with Anthony!!

We love you Linden!!!

HALF PIPE FUN....

So, our friends from Idaho came to visit and Brian decided that the half pipe can't be THAT hard to do. We were laughing SOOOOO hard as he tried to even roll back and forth on the skate board, and THEN, he decided to drop in, watch the following video for a good laugh!!! (and ignore my loud laugh while watching!!)

Here are a couple of cute shots of the kids playing. We miss being neighbors with the Christensons!!!
